There's a version of car enthusiasm that's about big power numbers and track times. And then there's a version about doing everything right, down to the last detail. The NISMO Metal Emblem sits firmly in the second category.
It's a 25 x 100mm badge. SUS stainless steel for the silver version, aluminium for the black. Double-sided tape attachment, two variants available. That's the whole story on the product page.
But the reason people buy the NISMO Metal Emblem isn't because it's technically complex. It's because it's the right badge. The official one. The one that says NISMO without screaming it.
Silver or black?
Part number 99993-RN209 is the silver version β polished stainless, classic, works on any body colour but particularly good on darker cars where the silver pops without being garish.
Part number 99993-RN211 is the black aluminium version β subtler, sits more flush visually with the body on lighter cars, looks exceptional on white or silver Nissans. Some people prefer it on dark cars too because it creates a monochrome statement.
Both are 1,320 yen including tax. That's not a typo. For an official NISMO factory badge, 1,320 yen is one of the best value genuine NISMO parts in the entire catalogue.
Where to put it
Most people go boot lid or lower front bumper. Some go on the C-pillar or rear quarter. There's no wrong answer β the emblem is understated enough that it never looks out of place. What looks wrong is a cheap replica version with slightly wrong font spacing and a sticky backing that lifts after three months. Get the genuine article.
If you're building a Nissan to any kind of NISMO specification β whether it's a GT-R, Fairlady Z, Silvia, or even a well-sorted daily driver β this is one of those finishing touches that costs almost nothing and lands exactly right.
