The Silvia S15 is one of those cars that never needed much help looking good. Nissan's designers got the proportions right — the long bonnet, the short rear deck, the cab-back stance. It's a proper coupe silhouette that's aged incredibly well.
But put a full NISMO aero package on one and the S15 transforms from "good-looking" to "purposeful." There's a difference, and NISMO understood it when they designed this kit.
The four-piece NISMO aero package for S15
① Front Bumper Spoiler — Full assembly replacement type, not a front lip add-on. FRP construction with white gelcoat finish (requires painting). The NISMO bumper widens the lower air intake aperture and changes the entire face of the car. The front overall length increases by approximately 15mm after fitting — within the 30mm modification allowance, so no special paperwork required in Japan. Part number 62020-RSS55, 97,900 yen.
② Side Skirt Set — Left and right pair. FRP, white gelcoat. Fitting requires drilling — four holes per side in the sill bottom, two at each wheel arch. Paid attention to this because unlike some kits, the fitment is genuinely structural. Part number 76410-RSS55, 75,900 yen.
③ Rear Bumper Spoiler — The lower rear valance treatment. Fits over the standard rear bumper lower section. FRP, white gelcoat. Two rear wheel arch holes and two number plate mounting holes required. Transforms the diffuser area completely. Part number 85050-RSS55, 78,100 yen.
④ Rear Wing — A one-piece wing shape, FRP with gelcoat finish. Uses the OEM spoiler mounting points (four of them) — the other five OEM holes require blanking after removal. Important note: this rear wing only fits S15s that already have the factory large rear spoiler fitted. Cars without the factory spoiler don't have sufficient trunk lid strength at the attachment points. Part number 98100-RSS55, 63,800 yen.
The complete picture
Full kit price if you spec all four pieces: around 316,000 yen before paint. For a factory-developed NISMO body kit on one of the most iconic JDM coupes ever made, that's actually reasonable. And given the S15 is now 25 years old and approaching full US import eligibility, demand for genuine NISMO S15 parts is only going to climb.
If you're restoring or building an S15 properly, this is the aero specification that came from NISMO. Nothing aftermarket touches it for authenticity or finish quality when properly painted.
